Terms and Conditions
City Tour Deventer
These Terms and Conditions apply to all city walks, private tours, and group tours offered by City Tour Deventer. City Tour Deventer is part of On the Shelf Opportunities (OTSO).
1. Booking and Agreement
A booking becomes binding once the customer and the guide have agreed on the date, time, duration, and price of the tour, and the booking has been confirmed.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Public Tours
- Free cancellation up to 14 days before the tour starts
- Cancellation between 14 days and 48 hours before the tour starts: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 48 hours before the tour starts: no refund
- No-show: no refund
Private Tours, Groups, and Business Clients
- Free cancellation up to 21 days before the tour starts
- Cancellation between 21 and 7 days before the tour starts: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour starts: no refund
One free rescheduling to another date is possible, subject to availability.
3. Cancellation by City Tour Deventer
If a tour cannot take place due to illness, force majeure, extreme weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, City Tour Deventer will make reasonable efforts to arrange a replacement guide.
If this is not possible, any payments already made will be refunded in full. No further compensation or liability shall apply.
4. Weather Conditions
Tours will generally proceed in rain and normal weather conditions.
If weather conditions may compromise the safety of participants, such as storm warnings, extreme heat, or other exceptional circumstances, City Tour Deventer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the tour.
5. Payment
Invoices must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal for these services. The tours offered by City Tour Deventer are leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period and are therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal under applicable consumer protection legislation.
7. Group Size
The customer is responsible for providing the expected number of participants. Any changes must be communicated no later than two days before the start of the tour.
8. Liability
Participation in a tour is at the participant’s own risk.
City Tour Deventer shall only be liable for direct damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Any liability is limited to the amount charged for the relevant tour.
City Tour Deventer accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to participants’ personal belongings.
9. Refunds
Refunds will only be granted in accordance with the cancellation policy stated above and will be processed within 14 days after confirmation of the cancellation.
