Hi, I’m Olaf

My name is Olaf Dijkstra, and I am your personal city guide in the beautiful historic city of Deventer.
As an atmospheric Hanseatic city on the River IJssel, Deventer boasts a rich history that has helped shape its identity. Today, it is known as a city of books, the home of Dickens and football club Go Ahead Eagles, and a vibrant destination for festivals, arts and culture, as well as its impressive industrial heritage, including the creative Havenkwartier district.
